HowCARE-DRIVE Driver Fatigue Early Warning System works?
After thesystem is connected to power supply for 2 seconds, the green light will flashfor 1 second. The system is started. If it is at night, you will notice thatthere is some dark red lighting for the ultra-red LED. In the first 30 seconds,the system detects the driver’s position and location and analyzes status. Itdoes not make warnings at this stage. After the driver has been driving formore than 30 seconds, the system will make warnings. However, once power is on,the system will indicate if the driver’s eyes are open. If the green light ison, the driver’s eyes are open. If the green light is off, it means that thedriver closes eyes or driver is not in the detecting range. You can adjust thecamera’s position depending on if the green light is on or not.

Undersome circumstances, a driver probably will fall in sleep suddenly due tofatigue driving; the early warning system will make a sharp and loud sound toawake the driver at that critical time, which is the other very importantfunction of this system.

When the fatigue warning sounds, the driver should pull over immediately tohave a rest and avoid an accident. If the driver continues to drive without anyrest, the system will remind the driver to have a rest by making a sharp andloud sound whenever necessary.

MR688 can also make some friendly reminderof driver’s careless driving to avoid accident. For example, the driver is notfocusing on driving and talking to other passengers. The driver bows head andgazes around or spends considerable amount of time of operating audio andnavigation systems.

When the device has detected that thedriver is in fatigue or careless driving, the alarm will go off. The alarmresponse time is 2 seconds for dozing on highways and 3 seconds for urbanareas. It issues three long beeps. For other circumstances, such as staring atthe rear mirror for more than 5 seconds, it will have 5 short beeps. It takesabout 8 seconds for the driver to enter unconscious state and the retina keepson shrinking during this period. The system is fully capable of starting thealarm before it becomes dangerous. The system can also detect the driver’sfatigue level when he/she is wearing glasses.

MR688 Thedevice has a built-in GPS speed detection module which can automatically detecta vehicle’s speed. When the immediate speed is lower than the setting, thedevice won’t alarm, even if fatigue characteristics are detected. This functioncan avoid false alarms and reduce interferences to drivers during parking, reversing,or low speed driving. Users can set over speed via the hand setting instrumentor data collection box, whenever vehicle is over speed, the alarm will go off.
